Arizona, States Rights, and Illegal Imigration...

Who am I? I am a United States of America Citizen.

Background? Natural Born Citizen of the U.S. of A.; however on both sides of my family 3, 4, and 5 Generations back are immigrants from foreign countries.

Do I have any issues with immigrants? No, none whatsoever! My family comes from Immigrants! Also some of my good friends are 1st and 2nd generation immigrants.

Do I have issues with Illegal Immigrants? Yes, they whomever they may be, not only dishonor those of the same race and or nationality who took the legal steps to become a Citizen, they also cause undue disruption to all levels of the whole country, causing a drain on the infrastructure and take precious commodities away from the Natural born and also the Foreign born Citizens.

Why is Arizona important? Despite some Draconian language in Arizona S.B. 1070; a States Right to defend its borders and citizenry is granted and the DOJ's lawsuit against Arizona seems a bit frivolous in light of the fact that ever since the NAFTA trade agreement between Mexico, USA, and Canada the influx of illegal immigrants has increased, bringing more crimes such as murder, rape, stealing, etc. to our citizenry as a whole, but specifically to border States such as California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas mostly; and the Federal Government, despite claims to the contrary have put little force behind current laws to defend State sovereignty against illegal immigrant traffic. Arizona is important because if they lose this legal battle with the Federal Government it also means the Citizens lose as well. {Our Rights are tied to the idea that each of us is an Individual are born free with inalienable rights, it is those Individuals that give our leaders power, which in turn give our States power to dictate laws and rule over the whole; The power of the state to rule is proportionate to its ability to rule and maintain order on the land it encompasses, but also by right of rule by the people; this is the sovereignty of the State.} You take that sovereignty away and it leaves way for taking rights away from the Individual. This is a complicated and some say dangerous web to be treading; but one must ask, 'For whom?' If Arizona loses that means their is a chance the Individual loses too, and it could mean less rights in the borders of our very own homes if the States lose the Right to security within their borders.

So is Arizona important? Yes, absolutely!

Is the Federal Government Bad? No, but it does need to be kept in check as our Constitution and Fore Founders designed, so let us all work at all levels of government to ensure the safety of all us citizenry against illegal immigration, crimes, and anything else that would disrupt this great Nation of ours!

But don't take my word for it, Do your own research on this issue and also take a read at AFP's article below.

Follow Arizona’s Lead; Protest Federal Usurpation

By Jim Traficant

Contrary to what you’ve seen on television, heard on the radio or read in the newspapers, America does not—let me repeat—America does not have an immigration problem.

America has an “illegal” immigration problem—a huge illegal immigration problem. Massive and volatile, this illegal immigration problem has divided America into opposing forces; and the agendas of some of the people involved are highly suspect, especially the agenda of the federal government.

Let’s examine this fiasco. Recently, two groups of illegal immigrants were apprehended coming ashore along the southern California coast. One group included 18 people who landed at the Marine Corps’s Camp Pendleton. Let me repeat that—at Camp Pendleton. I’m not kidding. The existence of these 18 illegals and their subsequent apprehension were reported by federal authorities. Think about it. It’s getting so bad that illegal aliens are landing at our Marine bases. Beam me up!

Another group of 16 illegal aliens was caught coming ashore near Leucadia. They were traveling in a skiff, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

The Border Patrol confirmed that they detained 18 illegal aliens “walking across Camp Pendleton a few hours after they were dropped off by boat.”

By the way, the Border Patrol was informed by Marine officials at Pendleton that the illegals were literally “walking across Camp Pendleton.”
Illegal aliens entering America through a Marine base . . . if that’s not enough to roast your chestnuts, tell me what is. The Marines, no less, phoned the Border Patrol. Geez, that was very thoughtful.

Has our government lost all semblance of common sense? How stupid can we be?

Whatever their various reasons for entering the U.S., these illegal aliens are invaders of our sovereign borders. Am I missing something here? I think not.

As I’ve often said, this isn’t brain surgery or rocket science. It’s not nearly as complicated as many of today’s permissive “talking heads” want you to believe. It’s actually rather simple. Entering the U.S. in such a manner makes them criminals because they enter our country without permission or authority.

This may sound harsh, but they should be thrown out. In addition, anyone aiding and abetting this illegal activity should be fined at least, and even imprisoned for certain activities that may jeopardize American lives.

Having said that, recall that the federal government has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Phoenix, Ariz. to stop Arizona’s enforcement of its new anti-illegal immigration law, claiming that the state law (S.B. 1070) is an “unlawful interference with federal authority.”

Yes, you read that right—“an unlawful interference with federal authority.” The DOJ says that Arizona has “crossed the line,” when Arizona is just trying to stop illegal aliens from vandalizing, robbing and threatening the lives of the citizens of Arizona. But the DOJ says it’s “our responsibility, not Arizona’s.”

Really? Well, the DOJ should be deported to Mexico—a nation with strict laws against illegal entry, far stricter than those of the U.S. Now, to really soil your taco, listen to the words of the director of the National Immigration Law Center.

This pro-illegal immigration entity issued a statement through Executive Director Marielena Hincapee: “By the [DOJ] filing its lawsuit against Arizona, the federal government carried out its duty: it reminded Arizona, and anyone else who attempts to follow suit, that immigration is a federal issue and the states should stay out.” In other words, just leave the illegal aliens alone and brush aside the fact that the U.S. government spends billions to defend every country’s borders but its own.

So, we now have a Mexican front group telling America and our states what we can and cannot do. This Mexican diva forgot to mention the key element of this debacle: It’s still illegal immigration, and that’s a crime. States have rights; they’re called states’ rights. Nowhere in our Constitution does it allow for some foreign-sponsored organization to tell us, or our states, what to do.

Truth is, this is largely about politics—to get that growing Hispanic vote, even though there are many Hispanics who played by the rules to become U.S. citizens and resent the illegal aliens and their front groups.

Where will the politicos stop to gain the huge Hispanic vote? Just think of the millions of new voters the lucky candidate/political party will attract by allowing such criminal activity at our borders to continue.

Is this homeland security? If you believe that, you’re somewhere far out in left field. Please tell me, how can we have an Office of Homeland Security when criminals are allowed to sprint across our borders? Some could be murderers, rapists, pedophiles and, yes, even terrorists.

Some will remark that “Traficant has an axe to grind” and “Traficant’s a bigot, a racist,” on and on. Yeah, I guess those labels keep everybody quiet. No one wants to be labeled. But are we going to let America go to hell?

That’s the basic problem, folks. Everyone’s afraid to open their mouths, afraid to express their opinion, afraid to lose their social status.

The DOJ should be supporting the state of Arizona, not suing them. What a travesty. But we citizens collectively sit back with our mouths closed and allow a powerful central government to leave our borders unprotected, wide open, with imaginary neon signs flashing, coaxing those wishing to enter America to illegally jump the border.

Anyone wishing to enter America to become a citizen need only do it legally. Is it really too much to ask that we do this like our grandparents and great-grandparents did years ago? Ellis Island wasn’t a theme park. It was a place for immigrants to enter the U.S. in an orderly fashion with all the proper health and citizenship regulations in place.

One last thing: Do not be afraid to speak out on this issue. If you are afraid, get a dog. Get back at me!

Happy Birthday U.S. of A.

Happy Fourth of July America!

This is a Happy day for many U.S. Citizens, as it should be.

And since it is the 4th of July, remember it isn't just about spending time with Family and Loved ones, Friends and Countrymen/women, and or your fellow Soldiers as it may be.

It isn't just remembering that it is the good Ol' U.S. of A.'s Birthday;

This day Officially marks the Independence of the Original 13 Colonies from Monarchial Tyranny under King George III of Great Britain.

It is a reminder of the commitment and sacrifices of our forefathers and also all Citizens and Soldiers alike who have done what they can to make and keep this our country free from tyranny and to continue the Citizens duty of upholding our Constitution and it's Amendments.

This day is also the time to Officially reflect on our country's Great Experiment, this Democratic-Republic of ours, and what we can do to keep it functioning as such.

It is a reminder that when we see fireworks exploding and raining down upon us from up in the sky, that it is an allegory for the Bomb shells that rained down upon our Country while we fought valiantly to assert our Rights and Personal freedoms from tyrannical forces.

It is a time to remember that the first Ten Amendments of the Constitution, known as the Bill of Rights. Weren't just put their as an afterthought, but as a reminder to Government and Citizen alike that these first 10 Amendments are a re-statement of our [In-a-lienable] Common Law Rights which predate Government and are their to protect every common person from tyranny, subjugation and any other form which serves to enslave or chain one from their personal actions, thoughts and or even body.

It reminds us that only 'We the People' have the right to enslave ourselves or continue fighting to make sure we remain free.

It reminds us that We the People also means We the Government, and if something isn't right We are the only ones that can fix it.

The Fourth of July reminds each and everyone of us, U.S. Citizens that we are each and Individual yet together a Country, and because of that distinction we are all Great.

And as we go out to watch parades, and we go out to watch the fireworks, enjoy every bit of it you can, because this birthday is Our Birthday!

But when it is over, it really is never over; because tomorrow will always bring more Tyranny, more Incredulous and Malicious behavior serving only to take what we rightfully earned.

"Freedom is never Free", what good words uttered by many a Good Patriot and even those who would take that freedom from us.

In either a case or a history, the words ring true and to you, each U.S. Citizen;

Happy Birthday!

Happy Fourth of July!!

And, may each and everyone one of us sleep well tonight knowing that we have Citizens and Soldiers who continue to fight the good fight to keep us free in the pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness.
