What is Blue Republican & Robin Koerner's Thoughts

I had the most educating experience today, after watching a presentation by Robin Koerner at the first Blue Republican forum.

Too be honest I wasn't really even sure what [Blue Republican] really was, except that everything I had read, seen and heard via this ideological stand point seemed in agreement with my views, (which are a mixture of Moderate Conservatism, Constitutionalist, and Classical Liberal).

The problem with stating 'Liberal' or Conservative, 'Left' or 'Right', is that we here in America have very polarized views on what those are; and it isn't really our faults that many of us misunderstand what these words actually mean. We have been fed all sorts of misinformation in varying degrees by all sorts of people, about such and many of us fail to even open up a book, dictionary, or even an encyclopedia, let alone take a class on Constitutional foundations and the elements that fueled such a feat.

For me, listening to Robin Koerner was like listening to a breath of fresh air, and add the fact that he is a former British Citizen, amplifies the sound reasoning he has because of his unique perspective, that many Americans just do not have.

Much of what Robin talked about was already well known to me, although the way he presented it helped me see this all from an alternate perspective. His presentation makes our situation as a nation very clear, and although it is concise due to time constraints, this presentation is very educational and informative.

Robin Koerner, speaks from a mindset that will be easy to take for both moderate conservatives and liberals, and will get nodding approval from Libertarians and Constitutionalists.

I do not sit through very many political discussions even when they agree with me, part of it stems from my boredom of listening to someone talk for more than 5 minutes on any political subject, since most of these you only get the polarized view and unless it is a Libertarian, a Constitutionalist or Ron Paul, they all have the same underlying argument and message.

And yet Koerner is different, He is not Liberal, but nor is he Conservative, He likes to classify himself as a "Classical Liberal" with Libertarian lean. A Classical Liberal is much the same thing as our Founding Fathers were... They were conservatives, conserving liberal traditions.

If you have 1 Hour and 27 minutes free at any point I do suggest watching this presentation by Robin Koerner, even if you disagree with everything I have said here, at least watch it so you have an educated understanding of what he and I are talking about, and this will help you understand why more and more people are becoming fans of Ron Paul and his message.

The basic state that America is in is due to the ignorance of our population and the misleading nature many of our politicians stand for.

In Remembrance of...


Firstly, after much writers prerogative and  Facebook [1] / Twitter [2] posting; I would like to say a word or two on Ms. Etta James.

Born Jamesetta Hawkins, she "is regarded as having bridged the gap between rhythm and blues and rock and roll [3]". She in fact is one of my all-time favorite artists, even for me as a kid, and it is her voice that always made me smile or tear-up.




I like so many people, loved her song 'At Last'[4] it always welled up something beautiful inside... or maybe just old regrets, but that is neither here nor there. (The Lyrics [5])


It is even the one song I was absolutely sure I wanted played at my Wedding, if that is ever to happen. 
Etta James, has such great and amazing musical talent and was the muse and inspiration for so many R&B and Rock and Roll artists that it would take a while to mention.


She will surely be missed by her family and those of us who appreciated her talent and personality.


Thank you Etta James, for such inspiring and Beautiful music over all these years.


You are home, at last.


On a second note, that is entirely too long in wait, I want us all to remember Gordon Hirabayashi [6].


Honestly I did not even know of this amazing fellow until today, when reading George Takei's 'Blog. With all my interest in Japanese Culture, from Asia to America, and my determination to know and understand the truth behind mainline History. 


I find missing this single Man a travesty on all counts, since he was more American than most when the time came for him to stand up against those who acted upon fear and prejudice over rational and Constitutional minds.


He was one of many whose persistence helped get him and others an apology from the United States Government after four decades of denial.


The apology I knew about, yet I never looked into the whole thing in any real detail.


I have long debated about writing about the Internment Concentration camps; from Nazi Germany, to WWII America, to Modern day America.


It is a touchy subject, that beats Dragon's fire on all sides even still, at least for those who actually know about these things or care about them at all.


But I have a quote from Benjamin Franklin from 1730 that stays by my computer at all times, that I use as a reminder, and it states, 


"If all printers were determined not to print anything till they were sure it would offend nobody, there would be very little printed.", although as Benjamin originally printed this now quote, it is much heavier in word [7].


In any regard this reminds me that as long as I have breath and ability to say something, I shall use my Right of Free Speech to say it, no matter the opinion of somebody else.


And thanks to George Takei's [8] words and memoriam on Gordon Hirabayashi, I have decided to jump back into my research and write a full but concise 'Blog on this subject of Internment Camps/Concentration Camps.


People need to know, because anytime freedom is threatened and people are subjugated, it is because someone else censored them or silenced them or took away the knowledge that could have warned and saved them.


Remember, Ignorant masses are the easiest to manipulate, and what you don't know can and will hurt you.

14th Amendment: The Misinterpretation of...

I come from an Immigrant Family, (We came from Poland, Germany, Czechoslovakia), any where from 2 to 3 generations back. 

We came here legally and with purpose of being awarded American Citizenship and all the Rights and Priviledges that come with it. 

We did not sneak in, We did not break any Immigration laws Nor did we or are we using the System against itself, (The Misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment; where those of Illegal entry have their new born children on American soil granted Citizenship). 

The Framers of the 14th Amendment never intended to award Citizenship to anyone that broke laws getting into this Country, and was written at a time prior to Immigration laws. 

Their is nothing wrong with people immigrating to the U.S., there is however a serious issue with rewarding Citizenship to those that either broke the law and or broke the law to give their kids Citizenship. 

It is the same as lieing, cheating and stealing, and should not be tolerated. 

No other Country in the World allows Citizenship to illegal Immigrants or their children, such a thing devalues the hard-working efforts of all those who immigrated here/there legally.

What is needed is to correct the misinterpretation of that amendment's first sentence: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.

These words have shewn the practice of conferring citizenship on children born here to illegal immigrants.

"It is difficult to imagine a more irrational and self-defeating legal system than one which makes unauthorized entry into this country a criminal offense and simultaneously provides perhaps the greatest possible inducement to illegal entry [1]." Writes professor Lino Graglia of the University of Texas law school.

From the Texas Review of Law and Politics, Graglia states this irrationality is rooted in a misunderstanding of the phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof." 
The intention and understanding of the authors and ratifiers in 1866 could not have intended for citizenship for any illegal immigration, since no such thing existed in the U.S. up until that point becasue no law had ever restricted immigration.


As we see pointed out quite clearly in the dialogue over HR 127 1886 by Sen. Jacob M. Howard (MI):


"Mr. HOWARD: I now move to take up House joint resolution No. 127.


The motion was agreed to; and the Senate, as in Committee of the Whole, resumed the consideration of the joint resolution (H.R. No. 127) proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States.


The first amendment is to section one, declaring that all "persons born in the United States and Subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the States wherein they reside. I do not propose to say anything on that subject except that the question of citizenship has been fully discussed in this body as not to need any further elucidation, in my opinion. This amendment which I have offered is simply declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already, that every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States. This has long been a great desideratum in the jurisprudence and legislation of this country.[2]"


Further analysis of this shows:



"In 1873 in the Slaughter-House Cases, the first case to come
before the Court involving the then newly enacted Fourteenth
Amendment, the Court stated, in dicta, that “[t]he phrase,
‘subject to its jurisdiction’ was intended to exclude from
[birthright citizenship] children of ministers, consuls, and citizens or subjects of foreign States born within the United States.”


Much more important, in 1884 in Elk v. Wilkins, the Court
adopted the view of Senators Trumbull and Howard that a child
born to members of an Indian tribe did not have birthright
citizenship.  Such a child was born in the United States, but not
born “subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” because that requires
that the child be “not merely subject in some respect or degree
to the jurisdiction of the United States, but completely subject to
their political jurisdiction, and owing them direct and
immediate allegiance. [3]


So despite modern Judicial interpretations of the 14th Amendment; the framers of the 14th Amendment state very clearly that it's wording expresses that 'children of ministers, consuls, and citizens or subjects of foreign States born within the United States, are excluded from gaining citizenship'.



Their is no argument that can deny this truth, and also shows  that our Judicial system has been unconstitutionally allowing the opposite to happen.

So, next time you feel threatened, think about what is the true root cause.
Remember, You can disagree with anyone, everyone, and or anything, but fear of a thing holds us back, keeps us locked up, and tends to lead to violence.
Violence is never the answer, but that doesn't mean we can't express our opinion loudly, and with strength and Unity!

Internet Censorship Protests Go Viral

January 18th, 2012

This day marked the moment when People and Websites around not only in the United States of America but those around the world as well, stood up in close unison and declared that U.S. Bills SOPA and PIPA and others like them are an affront to the Freedom and Privacy of the Internet.

Whether or not those of you reading this 'Blog, agree Piracy is Legitimate or Illegal, the major consensus on January 18th, showed that many understand that these U.S. Bills have a much darker side to them and will only serve to harm law abiding Citizens and our access to free Information rather than preventing "piracy" as they so clamor to present to the Public mind.

Anyone who has a basic understanding of law, Common sense, and has been self-aware for at least the past 10 years, understands that the wording in these bills is Draconian at the very least, and is not intended to protect the Rights of Citizens but those of Government and Corporate agendas.

Ideas are the most dangerous form of weapon the world has ever known and if one can snuff out the spread of ideas, they will have effectively shutdown any real from of resistance.

By being able to Censor a thing, such as the Internet, it will prevent the freedom of speech, it will prevent awareness of the Public of dirty deeds by those who are determined to do so. It will prevent Public discussion on a National and even possibly International level, that would otherwise bring the bad-kids wrong-doings into the light.

Yes Piracy is an issue, and it is one that needs more 'Public' debate, and more ISPs and Web-Companies to take action themselves, by updating their Terms-of-Service, and taking more immediate action. It is not the Job of Government, (Specifically here in the United States of America), to intervene in matters of Public Trade, (i.e. herein denoted as one Public Company claiming Piracy of their goods, against another Public Entity, (Company, Person, or otherwise), the Commerce Clause in the U.S. Constitution makes this quite clear. Such matters are for the Judicial system to hash out and for the Common Public to make a stand on.

In today's world, [Blanket Laws] do not effectively combat many of the issues at hand, they only serve to harm the innocent in the pursuance of the Criminal. Just like Gun Laws here in the U.S. have proven over a 30 year period that Criminals the laws are "intended" for still are able to get there weapons and are not detered at all by whatever Law is currently on the books, Just like the Anti-Alcohol Laws of the 1920's did not prevent people from creating or aquiring it.

Things like these only ever served the State and their ability to create or increase Crime to better serve the filling of their Coffers.

History is a guide, we better learn from it or be willing to face the consequences of ignoring it.

End Piracy, Not Liberty

Facebook not responsible for Teen Depression

So this is old news, but it must be a slow news day in Chicago.

Facebook is, (or has been), being blamed for Teen Depression, this is like blaming the rain for your Tax bills or your Love life.

I am not a fan of Facebook's Policies, however it is a free service that allows people to connect and talk to each other and share things.

No one is forced to use it, and well teen depression was around long before Facebook existed, (of course there are currently a lot of Doctors who are willing to be paid off by big Corporations to to lie to you, by Making up new diseases, so they all can make money off you.)

If your teen is depressed, get them off the sugary junk foods, get them off the game systems, turn the t.v. and computer off and interact with them, (The clue here is unplug them from the things that separate you and your teen and plug yourself back into their life).

If their are bullies on Facebook block them and report them, Facebook has decent security settings now to prevent people from annoying you or causing you mental anguish.

If issues continue with your or your Teens interactions on Facebook; turn it off and or delete the account and DO NOT go back.

The end of the Twentieth Century and the beginning of the 21st Century has shown us that less and less people are willing to take responsibility for their actions and just blame someone or even something else for their issues and problems.

It is the same with with the current censorship of T.V. and Radio programming because People refuse to accept responsibility for what they and or their children watch, by just letting some corporate entity decide for them and then complain when they do. If it is inappropriate to your beliefs, or it is causing you harm in some way turn it off or get rid of it.

Facebook is not responsible for the inadequacies in your home environment... And Teachers aren't babysitters either, (Just thought I'd add that).

The insanity of it all


America!

We are not Morally superior!
We are not Religiously superior!
We are not Ethnically superior!

We are Human Beings, just like all others on this Planet!

Our Government's interventionist policies, kill Civilians; Women, Children, and Men alike!

The thing we should be concerned with is our Morality; of which we are severely lacking.

The only thing we are allowing to happen is creating more enemies to our great nation, instead of allies.

I would hate any country that would indescriminately bomb my country and kill innocent Civilians, and then ask for our support; so why is it any different for us?

This does not mean we shouldn't protect ourselves, but it does not mean that we should or have the right to make decisions for other countries, either.

Wake up, Amerika!
